a world of timeshares

common timeshare sizes

When you are shopping for timeshare you will probably notice that they are available in different sizes. The design of your timeshare’s space will probably be very dependent on how your vacation plans evolve each year. For instance if you are single you may not need much more than a space that is comparable to a bachelor. If you are married you may prefer a one bedroom and if you have children you may prefer to buy a time share with two bedrooms or more.

Lock off units are a great idea if you sometimes prefer to travel without the kids.   These units can be split into two separate units or combined into one large one.

One design feature that many timeshares have in common is a full kitchen and a full bathroom. Most of them also have balconies if they are condo style dwellings or small patios if they are more of a villa design type building.

A big selling point of most timeshares is the amenities that are shared with your neighbours in the building as well as the other owners of your particular villa, apartment, hotel room or suite. Common offerings are an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, laundry facilities, a playground, a tennis court, a gym, a place to store bikes safely, a garden, a parking lot or a sauna.

Other common elements that these units can share are ensuite laundry, Jacuzzi bathtubs, marble kitchen counters, built-in kitchen tables, built in shelves and walk in closets.

Of course the number of amenities or unique design features that come with a timeshare are very dependent on how much you paid for it and how hoity-toity it is. For instance you can expect to pay more for a condo that is in a gated community as opposed to one that is next to a housing development on a beach.
